
San Antonio police are investigating after a man was critically injured in a drive-by shooting just west of downtown.
SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Police Department says a man has been hospitalized in critical condition after being shot during a drive-by shooting just west of downtown San Antonio.
Around 4:30 p.m,, SAPD responded to the 2200 block of South Trinity Street after receiving reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, police found a man in critical condition suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso area.
Officials said they are talking with a witness who told them a black or darkish gray Cadillac car, with possibly more than one occupant, drove up and opened fire on the victim before speeding away.
The man was taken to a local hospital where he is facing life-threating injuries.
No suspects have been identified at this time.
