
Three cars were involved in the crash on the northeast side of town early Monday morning.
SAN ANTONIO — A man is in the hospital after falling into Salado Creek following a 3-car accident on Loop 410 on the northeast side of town.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. in between Harry Wurzbach Road and Starcrest, police say.
The three vehicle accident resulted in a rollover as well. Initially, it was reported that someone was ejected but that was not the case.
Police say the three who were helping got scared of the traffic trying to help passengers in the rolled over car and they jumped off the freeway over Salado Creek to avoid getting injured.
Two landed safely, but police say the man jumped at the wrong spot and fell into Salado Creek.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
