Police say he was walking with a woman down Old Highway 90 when he was clipped by the driver, who did not stop to render aid.
SAN ANTONIO — A man is in critical condition after being struck by a driver who did not stop to render aid early Monday morning.
San Antonio Police responded to the 6500 block of Old Highway 90 on the west side of town around 1:18 a.m. for reports of a hit and run accident.
When officers arrived, they found the man had been clipped by a driver, then thrown into the grassy area next to the street. That driver did not stop.
The victim was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
Police are investigating the incident. No description was provided of the vehicle the suspect was driving.
No word on what charges the suspect will be facing when found.
