SAN ANTONIO — Police arrest a man who barricaded himself inside a motel room and shot at officers on the scene, according to San Antonio Police.
Police arrested 46-year-old, Felin Huron, who police were called on at a Studio 6 in the Medical Center around 6 a.m. Thursday.
According to officials the man who was wearing a ski mask demanded at gunpoint the room from some motel occupants, who were not injured. Police say the man also shot at officers on the scene.
Officials early morning shut down Fredericksburg Road and Louis Pasteur, near Medical Center Drive, as they worked the scene. Lanes are now back open.
NISD School officials say any absences or delays for students affected by these road closures will not be counted against students as the school has a number of bus routes in the area.
