His exact words were, “I have 16 grenades in case y’all hurt my people today, those 16 grenades will be deployed to the San Antonio Police Department and we are going to kill 16 police, that’s all I am going to say.”
According to court documents, police were able to match the phone number to Acevedo. They also found body camera video, associated with a robbery in which Acevedo was the victim and police were able to match the tone, pitch, and accent, they say of Acevedo’s voice to the call.
He is facing a charge of obstruction or retaliation and his bond is set at $45,000 dollars.
