Man indicted for capital murder after allegedly killing two teenage girls in 2022 shooting

In July 2022, a man allegedly shot and killed two teenage girls at a party on the west side of San Antonio.

SAN ANTONIO — On March 14, a grand jury indicted a man who is accused of killing two teenage girls at a party on the west side back in 2022.

On July 5, 2022, officers responded to the 7700 block of Ingram Road after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, police found two female victims who had been shot. One was shot twice in the back and the other was shot in the chest and the arm.

The victims were treated at the scene before EMS arrived and took them to a local hospital in critical condition.

Both of the girls later died from their injuries.

Jonathan Alfaro was arrested as a suspect in the case and has been in the Bexar County Jail since July 14, 2022, according to court records.

Alfaro was indicted by a grand jury on March 14, 2024, and has a bond set a $1,000,000.
