Man injured after truck crashes into his car while at a stop sign, police say

The driver of the truck fled from the scene following the crash.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was injured after the driver of a pickup truck crashed into his car while he was at a stop sign, police say.

It happened around 10 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Clark Avenue and Glamis Avenue, near Goliad Road.

Police say  the 49-year-old victim was driving a black 2024 Nissan Altima and was stopped at a stop sign on Glamis, when the driver of a silver pickup truck traveling on Clark Avenue crashed into his car,

The driver of the truck fled from the location without rendering aid. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

When found, the driver of the truck will face one count of Collision Involving Injury. 

At last check, the Complainant was in stable condition. 

This case remains under investigation.
