SAN ANTONIO — A home invasion on the north side of town turned deadly after the suspect shot the victim in the face with a rifle, while a woman and child hid in a closet. San Antonio Police officers responded to the 1100 block of Patricia Drive, near Blanco Road and West Avenue
A man acting erratically after being stabbed assaulted a police officer who was trying to investigate early Thursday morning, SAPD said. Police said the man was stabbed in the chest on East Southcross around 3:15 a.m.
