
An individual was hospitalized after San Antonio officials found them with a life-threatening gunshot wound near a northwest-side 7-Eleven. They later died.
SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Fire Department says a man was hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting on the northwest side Tuesday. Officials say he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Around 8 p.m., officials responded to the 4100 block of Vance Jackson Road after receiving reports of a shooting in progress.
Preliminary reports from SAFD said the 35-year-old man was in critical condition after responding personnel says they found him with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Witnesses who remained at the scene told officers they heard multiple gunshot wounds from a vehicle parked at a gas pump where they saw the victim exit from the vehicle from the passenger side and walk toward the building to ask for help. The suspect vehicle fled from the location.
There has been no reports of an arrest yet in this case.
