Man left in ditch on south-side after being shot, SPAD says

The man had been shot multiple times, according to police.

SAN ANTONIO — Police are trying to figure out who shot a man and left him in a ditch near South Flores Street on the southside.

San Antonio Police responded to the intersection of East Vestal Place and Chaucer Avenue around 10:42 p.m. Saturday for reports of a shooting in progress.

When officers got there, they found a man in a ditch that had been shot multiple times.

At last check, the victim was in critical but stable condition.

Investigators are trying to find clues as to what led up to the shooting.

Police say the gunman has not yet been located.
