Man on bicycle injured after being struck by car in northeast-side San Antonio, police say

Police said a man in his 60s suffered a possible broken leg and a laceration to his forehead.

SAN ANTONIO — A man in his 60s was taken to the hospital Thursday night after San Antonio police say he was struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle on the northeast side.

According to SAPD, the crash happened around 10:17 p.m. near the 4600 block of Eisenhauer Road. Investigators said the man was crossing the roadway against the light when he was hit by an adult female driver.

The driver stopped to help and remained at the scene, police said.

The bicyclist suffered a possible broken leg and a laceration to his forehead. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Police said no charges are expected at this time.
