BOERNE, Texas — A 35-year-old man has been sentenced to a combined 70 years in prison for a series of child sex crimes involving an 8-year-old victim, according to Boerne police.
Investigators say Eduardo De Jesus Pineda Quinonez was involved in a sexual incident with the child at a trailer park last year. The case came to light when the victim reached out to San Antonio police, who later forwarded the report to Boerne authorities.
Quinonez, a Guatemalan national, was sentenced to 50 years for possession of child pornography and another 20 years for indecency with a child. He pleaded guilty to both charges.
Detectives also uncovered video on Quinonez’s cellphone that he had reportedly shared with others. That search led them to additional images depicting child pornography.
After completing his prison sentence, Quinonez will be released to ICE.
