Man reports shots fired at apartment during early morning argument, police say

Police are investigating after a man said a suspect fired several shots at his apartment early Saturday morning following an argument.

SAN ANTONIO — SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating after a man reported that someone fired multiple gunshots toward his apartment early Saturday morning on the city’s northwest side.

According to SAPD, the incident happened around 7 a.m. in the 1300 block of Gardina, just northwest of downtown.

Police say a 34-year-old man called officers to report a shooting in progress. He told investigators he saw a man, believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, firing several rounds in the direction of his apartment.

The complainant said multiple bullets struck the apartment, but no one was injured.

Investigators believe the shooting may have stemmed from a verbal argument between the two men prior to the gunfire.

No arrests have been announced, and the suspect has not been located.

The case is being investigated as aggravated assault. Police say the investigation is active and ongoing, and information may change as new details become available.
