SAN ANTONIO — One man who was riding a scooter was hit by a vehicle and later died on Friday night, according to San Antonio Police.
The incident took place on the 7300 block of Zarzamora around 9:30 p.m. Friday.
Officers say the man tried crossing a busy roadway while traveling the wrong way and was struck by a Toyota Camry.
The driver of the Camry stayed on the scene and told officers he didn’t see the scooter that police say had no lights.
The man hit by the vehicle was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
Police tell us the driver is not facing any charges.
