Man robbed at gunpoint in convenience store parking lot, police say

It happened around 8 p.m. Saturday on the east side of San Antonio.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was robbed at gunpoint on the east side of San Antonio Saturday night, according to police.

It happened around 8 p.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Foster Road and I-10 East.

The 24-year-old victim was robbed at gunpoint of his money, phone and vehicle while at a QT parking lot. 

Officers were able to review video taken at the store and spotted the stolen vehicle not far away.

The suspect was seen operating the vehicle, exiting the vehicle with a gun in his hand, and was ultimately apprehended by patrol units as he walked away from the stolen vehicle. 

The vehicle was recovered with no damage and no one was injured. The 22-year-old suspect was booked for aggravated robbery.
