SAN ANTONIO — A man was sentenced to life in prison today for the 2018 murders of a man and woman who were asleep in their apartment.

On Friday, a jury found Jilson Avelar Rodriguez guilty of killing Nicholas “Trey” Milanovich and Julia Write in 2018 while the pair were asleep in their apartment off Fairhaven.
