
Police are investigating after a man was struck and pinned between vehicles in a hit-and-run crash.
SAN ANTONIO — Police are investigating a suspected intentional hit-and-run that left a man seriously injured just northwest of downtown San Antonio early Wednesday morning.
According to San Antonio police, officers responded around 2:42 a.m. to the 1000 block of Ridgewood Court near West Hildebrand Avenue.
Investigators say a man in his 30s was walking in the street searching for his girlfriend’s home when a black lifted pickup truck struck him.
Police say the impact pushed the victim into a Toyota SUV, pinning him between the two vehicles.
The driver of the pickup then fled the scene.
The victim was taken to University Hospital with possible life-threatening injuries, including a broken leg.
San Antonio police say the Traffic Investigation Division is handling the case.
No arrests have been made.
