SAN ANTONIO — A man was shot by security after attempting to breach a gate at JBSA Ft. Sam Houston.
Around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, a person reportedly tried to breach the North Walters gate onto JBSA Ft. Sam Houston.
Security chased after the suspect and fired their weapon, striking the suspect in the leg near the 2500 block of Dunstan.
The suspect was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Officials said this is an ongoing investigation as they try to determine “who fired shots, if more than one person fired and if the suspect was armed.”
