
Police say a man was shot after pulling a gun on security guards outside a business on East Sonterra Boulevard early Sunday.
SAN ANTONIO — A man was shot early Sunday morning after police say he pulled a gun on security guards while being escorted out of a Stone Oak business.
San Antonio police were called around 2:39 a.m. to the 700 block of East Sonterra Boulevard for a reported disturbance.
According to SAPD, officers learned a 35-year-old man was causing a disturbance inside the location. Three security guards asked the man to leave and were escorting him out to his vehicle.
Police said as the man reached his vehicle, he retrieved a firearm and pointed it at the guards. One of the guards then shot the man, striking him.
The suspect was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The incident is being investigated as an aggravated assault case. The investigation remains ongoing.
