San Antonio police are searching for up to three suspects after a man was shot and killed outside an apartment complex Saturday night.
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are investigating a fatal shooting outside a northeast side apartment complex.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers were called around 8:15 p.m. Saturday to the 3900 block of Thousand Oaks Drive, near Wetmore Road for reports of a shooting in progress.
Police say a man who was staying at an apartment there was supposed to meet someone in the parking lot. When he went outside, he was shot.
EMS pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Investigators say as many as three suspects may have fled after the shooting, and they remain at large.
Officials said no other injuries were reported.
The San Antonio Fire Department, crime scene investigators and the medical examiner also responded.
The investigation is ongoing.
