Officers say that more than 20 shots were fired, but the victim was only hit once.
SAN ANTONIO — A man was shot in the arm in the parking lot of a west side vape shop early Monday morning, police say.
Officers responded to the 1800 block of SW Loop 410 around 4 a.m. for reports of a shooting.
When police arrived, they found a 29-year-old man with a single gunshot wound to his arm. Police say the victim was taken to University Hospital for his injuries.
Police say the man pulled into the parking lot of the tattoo shop when two men in a white vehicle started firing off shots at him. He had a female passenger, 49, with him who was not harmed.
The victim told police they had stopped by the vape shop to speak with the clerk, and when they were leaving the shop, the suspects began yelling and firing shots at them.
No description was provided of the suspects or their vehicle.
This is a developing story.
