A man in his 20s was hospitalized after a drive-by shooting near Frio City Road and Highway 90.
SAN ANTONIO — A man in his 20s is recovering after a drive-by shooting early Tuesday morning on the southwest side of San Antonio.
The shooting happened around 3:49 a.m. near the 1000 block of Frio City Road, close to Highway 90.
According to a San Antonio police officer, the victim was struck in the toe during the incident. He was taken to University Hospital for treatment. His current condition has not been released.
Police say there is currently no suspect information or vehicle description available.
San Antonio police detectives are investigating the shooting. SAFD and EMS also responded to the scene.
Authorities have not released additional details as the investigation continues.
