Man shot, killed while sitting in his SUV; SAPD, Crime Stoppers seek clues

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help to solve a shooting that left a man dead in his SUV.

Larry Alan Wilson, 54, was found in the driver’s seat of his white Ford Expedition around 11 p.m. on April 14 in the 8100 Cross Creek Drive, near Austin Highway on the city’s Northeast Side.

Police said Wilson was shot by a man standing on the passenger side of the victim’s vehicle.

Witnesses reported seeing the man running away with a backpack, police said.
