A man was shot in the leg while biking through a trailer park, police report. The suspect fled in a dark-colored car, and authorities are investigating.
SAN ANTONIO — Police are searching for someone who fired shots from their car on the southwest side, hitting a man who was riding his bike, authorities say.
The shooting happened at the McMullen Trailer Park, off Weir and General McMullen, around 1:45 a.m. Thursday morning.
Police say the man was riding his bike through the neighborhood when someone pulled up in a car and started shooting. The man, who is said to be in his 20s, was hit in the leg. The car took off.
The man who was shot was able to ride his bike back to his trailer and called for help. He is expected to be ok.
Police say the car was dark-colored, but did not have any other description of the suspect or vehicle. They also have not said if the shooting was targeted.
No arrests have yet been made. This is an ongoing investigation.
