Man stabbed by girlfriend’s ex at gas station, police say

The victim was able to drive himself to a nearby hospital for treatment.

SAN ANTONIO — A man was stabbed by his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend at a gas station on the northeast side of town, police say.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 11000 block of I-35 South.

Police say the47-year-old  victim was in his vehicle when the suspect and a female relative of his pulled up near his vehicle and jumped out. The suspect began stabbing the victim through his window, police say.

The suspects then drove away.

The victim was able to drive himself to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police located the female relative and took her into custody. The other suspect remains at large.

This investigation is ongoing.
