SAN ANTONIO — A man was hospitalized after being stabbed by his wheelchair-bound sister late Monday night on San Antonio’s far east side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

Police said the incident was reported around 11:05 p.m. in the 200 block of Longview Drive.

According to SAPD, a man in his 50s was stabbed in the arm by his sister, a woman in her 60s who uses a wheelchair.

The victim was transported to a hospital and is expected to survive. Police said he was listed in stable condition.

The woman was detained at the scene, according to officials.

Authorities have not released additional details about what led to the stabbing. The investigation remains ongoing.
