
The victim told officers he was trying to break up the fight when he was stabbed in the back by one of the men involved.
SAN ANTONIO — A man was stabbed in the back while trying to break up a fight at a downtown intersection, police say.
It happened around 2:45 a.m. at North Presa Street and West Crockett Street.
Officers were dispatched to the location for reports of a fight in progress. When police arrived, they found the 30-year-old victim with a stab wound to his back.
The victim told officers that he was trying to break up the fight when the 36-year-old suspect stabbed him in the back. That victim was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
Police identified the suspect and he was taken into custody.
