SAN ANTONIO — A fight between two men on the east side of town ended with one of them stabbed in the chest, police say.
This happened around 11:30 p.m. on Bundy Street, near Highway 90.
Police say that fight was because of miscommunication between an English speaker and a Spanish speaker.
Officers say the 45-year-old suspect and the 24-year-old victim were having a verbal altercation when the suspect grabbed a board with nails and began to strike the victim on his body. The victim was able to grab a kitchen knife and stabbed the suspect with the knife in his chest.
The suspect was taken to a local hospital to receive medical assistance for his injuries. No word on whether he is facing any charges.
This is still a developing story.
