
SAN ANTONIO – A man was taken to the hospital after he was stabbed under a bridge on the West Side, according to San Antonio police.
The stabbing happened at approximately 1 a.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of Hidalgo Street, not far from South Laredo and South Zarzamora streets.
An SAPD sergeant at the scene said a man in his 30s was stabbed in his back. He said it happened under a bridge near a park.
He was taken to University Hospital and his condition is unknown.
Five people have been detained for questioning in the attack, police said.
