Man stabbed with keys during argument with another man, police say

Officers say a fight broke out after a miscommunication between the two due to a language barrier.

SAN ANTONIO — A fight between two men on the east side of town ended with one of them stabbed in the chest with keys, police say.

This happened around 11:30 p.m. on Bundy Street, near Highway 90.

Police say that fight was because of miscommunication between an English speaker and a Spanish speaker. But which one stabbed the other one is unclear.

The suspect, a man in his 20s, was taken into custody by police. Police did not say what charges that man is facing.

The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. First responders believe his wounds aren’t life threatening, so he’s expected to be okay.

This is still a developing story.
