
A 32-year-old man was seriously injured after being hit by a train near downtown San Antonio.
SAN ANTONIO — A 32-year-old man was seriously injured Saturday evening after being struck by a train near the downtown area in San Antonio, authorities said.
Police were called to the intersection of Ruiz Street and N. San Marcos around 6:50 p.m.
According to authorities, the pedestrian stepped in front of a northbound train and was struck. The man sustained major injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
SAPD said the investigation is ongoing.
