SAN ANTONIO — A man is suspected of assaulting and killing his 74-year-old mother at her north-side apartment Sunday afternoon, according to San Antonio police.
Officers were called to an apartment complex in the 3500 block of West Avenue at about 4:20 p.m. Sunday for a family disturbance.
Upon arrival, they said the woman was deceased and her son, who is in his early 50s, had left the location. He later was taken into custody peacefully, they said.
No charges have been filed yet in this case.
