Man told police he was jumped by multiple suspects, cut with broken beer bottle

All of the suspects fled from the scene before police arrived.

SAN ANTONIO — A victim told police he was jumped by multiple suspects and cut with a broken beer bottle early Sunday morning on the northwest side of town.

Police were dispatched around 3 a.m. to the 7100 block of Oaklawn Drive near Fredericksburg Road for reports of a disturbance with a gun.

When police arrived at the scene, the 23-year-old victim told officers he was jumped by six to 12 people, one of whom cut him with a broken beer bottle. The victim had multiple lacerations to his right leg and right hand. He was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries.

The suspects fled from the location before officers arrived.
