Man ‘uncooperative’ with investigators after suspected stabbing west of downtown, SAPD says

SAN ANTONIO — A man was taken to the hospital after police say he was stabbed west of downtown San Antonio Friday afternoon.

SAPD said officers were called around 3:13 p.m. to the 300 block of Torreon for a report of a cutting-in-progress. When officers arrived, they found a 36-year-old man with a stab wound to his upper torso.

Police said the man was conscious but became uncooperative during the investigation and did not provide details about what led to the stabbing or who may have been involved.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

SAPD said the case remains active and the details could change as the investigation continues.
