Man walks into police station, confesses to killing father in Fair Oaks Ranch, according to police

34-year-old Allison Clark VI is charged with murder after allegedly stabbing his father inside their home—authorities say the attack stemmed from a domestic dispute.

FAIR OAKS RANCH, Texas — A 34-year-old man is in custody, accused of stabbing his father to death inside a Fair Oaks Ranch home Saturday morning.

According to law enforcement, Allison Paul Clark VI walked into the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department just before 9:30 a.m. on July 26 and confessed to murdering his father. He was immediately taken into custody without incident.

When officers responded to the home in the 29300 block of Duberry Ridge, they found a 71-year-old man dead from apparent stab wounds. A kitchen knife, believed to be the murder weapon, was recovered from the sink.

Clark later admitted during a police interview that he had stabbed his father. He has been booked into the Bexar County Jail and is charged with murder.  His bond set at $200,000.

Fair Oaks Ranch Police secured the crime scene and called in the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office to lead the investigation, which officials say is ongoing. Authorities believe the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute and was isolated to the home, with no threat to the public.

City Manager Scott Huizenga praised local law enforcement, saying, “I commend our officers for their quick response both within the department and at the scene. I also want to thank Bexar County for its ongoing partnership to keep the community safe.”

Mayor Greg Maxton added, “Fair Oaks Ranch is consistently ranked as one of the safest cities in Texas. While events like these are tragic, they are also rare. The immediate response from our team of dedicated officers and the support of our residents ensures such tragedies, when they do occur, are contained.”

The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office is working to confirm the identity of the victim and determine the exact cause of death.
