Man with skateboard killed in fatal hit-and-run; Police asking help identifying suspect

The Fort Worth Police Department said the hit-and-run happened Saturday, June 21 sometime prior to 5:50 a.m., when they got a call about an unconscious person.

SAGINAW, Texas — Fort Worth police are asking to the public’s help identifying the suspect of a fatal hit-and-run on Saturday morning. 

The Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD) said its officers got a call at approximately 5:50 a.m. Saturday, June 21 about an unconscious person in the roadway. Officers responded to the scene – the 1500 block of Saginaw Boulevard – and found a man dead. 

The suspect had already fled the scene in their vehicle by the time the cops arrived, FWPD said. 

Fort Worth police said the victim may have either been carrying or riding a skateboard along the road’s shoulder when he was struck. Anyone with information about this hit-and-run is asked to call detectives at (817)392-4892 and reference report #250045224.
