Mark your calendar: Here are the Spurs’ game days for the second round of the playoffs

San Antonio is still waiting to learn if it will play Denver or Minnesota in the conference semifinals. But here are the dates they’ll take the court.

SAN ANTONIO — Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs are still waiting to learn who they will play in the second round of the 2026 playoffs; that opponent, either the Denver Nuggets or Minnesota Timberwolves, could be determined as early as Thursday night.

But while the Silver & Black, fresh off their first playoff series win in nine years, continue to rest for what will likely be a tougher next test, the team and its fans can now plan for when they will take the court.

The NBA on Thursday announced the dates for the second-round series between the Spurs and Denver/Minnesota, which tips off Monday at Frost Bank Center. Like the series against Portland, the matchup will again follow a format that gives the Spurs home-court advantage; 2-seed San Antonio finished with a better record than both 3-seed Denver and 6-seed Minnesota.

It will be another best-of-seven series.

Below is the schedule as it’s been announced so far for the Spurs’ second-round action. Tipoff times and broadcast details are still to be determined, but the San Antonio faithful can expect there to be ample watch party opportunities, including at The Rock at La Cantera on the northwest side.

Minnesota Timberwolves is up 3-2 in their series against the Denver Nuggets, with Game 6 set for 8:30 p.m. CT Thursday.

Denver, which won the title in 2023, is trying to make it to the Western Conference Semifinals for a fourth straight year while Minnesota has made it to the conference finals each of the last two seasons.

Whichever squad ends up advancing to face San Antonio, they will have the benefit of momentum against the Silver & Black. The Spurs went 2-5 against the Nuggets and Timberwolves in the regular season, meaning those two teams accounted for a quarter of San Antonio’s losses.

But it should be noted that Wembanyama missed four of those games, three of which ended up being Spurs losses. In the other three matchups, he averaged 35.3 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.3 blocks while shooting 47.9% from the field.
