Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale donated 600 mattresses to flood victims and first responders in Kerr County, offering crucial relief in their ongoing recovery efforts.
KERR COUNTY, Texas — Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale and Gallery Furniture donated 600 mattresses Saturday to flood victims and first responders in Kerr County and Center Point.
The giveaway was held at the Center Point Volunteer Fire Department and included mattresses ranging from twin to king size. In addition to beds, Gallery Furniture distributed toys to children and families, bringing some holiday cheer to those still recovering from Fourth of July weekend flooding.
This marks the third mattress giveaway McIngvale has organized for Central Texas flood victims. Donations of blankets, toys, and jackets for flood victims are being accepted at the Doyle Community Center in Kerrville.
