SAN ANTONIO — Harlandale Independent School District issued a notice to parents Tuesday afternoon regarding an investigation into allegations against a district employee.
The district said it was made aware of an allegation involving an employee at McCollum High School and a former student, prompting the district to initiate an investigation.
The employee was placed on administrative leave as a thorough investigation remains ongoing, according to district officials. It is unclear at this time what the allegations entail.
“The District remains committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all students, staff and community members,” Harlandale ISD said in the notice to parents.
The district said it will not provide additional details at this time to “protect the integrity of the process and the privacy of those involved.”
