HOUSTON — Meet the first baby born in the new year at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital.
According to the hospital system, baby girl Julia was born just as the clock struck midnight, weighing 10 pounds, five ounces. Both mom and baby are doing well. Shortly after, baby boy Robin was the first boy born at Children’s Memorial Hermann at 12:42 a.m.
Memorial Hermann also welcomed babies at their other locations to start 2026. At Memorial Hermann Greater Heights, baby boy Adriel was born at 12:28 a.m., weighing eight pounds, four ounces, and at Memorial Hermann Memorial City, baby girl Romi was born at 12:59 a.m. to ring in the new year.
Congratulations to all of these growing families!
As we hear from other Houston-area hospitals, we’ll share those New Year’s Day birth announcements.
