SAN ANTONIO — Welcome the newest member of San Antonio Zoo: a baby capybara named Tupi!
Tupi, pronounced Two-pee, was born on Dec. 3 and is the first capybara born at San Antonio Zoo since 2000.
Capybaras live in South American savannas, forests and around bodies of water. They are also the largest rodents in the world.
