SAN ANTONIO — UPDATE: The CLEAR Alert for a missing teenager has been discontinued.
San Antonio-area authorities are looking for a missing teenager missing since about 2:34 p.m. Friday, when he was last seen in a neighborhood in north Bexar County, the Texas Department of Public Safety says.
A CLEAR Alert for missing people was issued for an 18-year-old after he disappeared from the 6100 block of Akin Elm, near the intersection of East Evans and Hanging Oak. DPS says he weighs about 150 pounds; stands 5 feet, 6 inches tall; and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Authorities say they believe his disappearance “poses a credible threat” to his safety.
He was wearing a black hoodie white and red lettering as well as khaki pants when he was last seen, according to officials.
If you have any information as to the teen’s whereabouts, you’re urged to call 911 or the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at (210) 335-6000.
