More than 3,000 people without power in San Antonio, according to CPS

At 7:30 a.m., Judson ISD posted on Facebook that they were experiencing an outage at the Network Operating Center in the southern part of the district.

SAN ANTONIO — More than 6,000 people are without power Friday morning after severe weather affected many in San Antonio.

According to CPS, as of 7:45 a.m., there are 72 outages reported affecting 3,654 customers. That number has fluctuated the last few hours, so we’ll keep you updated when those outages are restored.

The largest number of customers affected is in the lower southeast side, specifically around Lakeside and Crestlake, where 4,397 customers are without power.

At 7:30 a.m., Judson ISD posted on Facebook that they were experiencing an outage at the Network Operating Center in the southern part of the district, temporarily affecting phones and internet.

Teams are currently working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. 

Schools affected are WHS, Candlewood, Hopkins, Kirby, Park Village, Masters, Metzger, Hartman and Escondido.
