
Now several agencies are looking into the allegations.
She says it happened at BASIS San Antonio – Jack Lewis Jr. campus on the west side of town.
The mom says the abuse didn’t just happen once, but five times over the last three months.
The mother contacted police on October 24 to file a report.
She says BASIS issued a “no contact order,” so the student is forced to stay away from her son, but the woman is still frustrated with the school. We reached out to BASIS San Antonio – Jack Lewis Jr. campus, which issued a statement.
“BASIS San Antonio – Jack Lewis Jr. is aware of the concern that has been raised and has responded consistent with its established protocols. We take any matter involving student conduct and safety very seriously and have no information to suggest there is a safety threat on campus,” said the statement from the school. “The school is committed to protecting student confidentiality and is therefore unable to share additional details. We also reached out to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, which confirmed it is also investigating the claims along with SAPD and the school district.
