SeaWorld San Antonio
SeaWorld is offering families a chance to celebrate Mother’s Day with their Dine with Orcas experience. A brunch with savory mains, an avocado toast station, waffles with berries and sauces and much more will be available.
The brunch is 49.99 for adults and $34.99 for kids. Click here for reservations.
SeaWorld San Antonio will also host a live concert from Smash Mouth on May 9, bringing some All-Star energy to the weekend.
Menger Hotel
The historic downtown hotel is hosting a decadent Mother’s Day brunch with all the favorite offerings. It includes an omelette station and fresh salads. It is $69.99 per person.
Go Rio Cruises
You can treat mom to tickets to a special Wine Down Sunset Cruise. The cruise is 45-50 minutes and includes three glasses of wine and a charcuterie board. The cost is $96 per person. The cruises are running until May 30.
San Antonio Museum of Art
The museum is running a Mother’s Day tour that celebrates mothers and women across time and cultures. The tour is noon-1 p.m. Sunday, May 10. Keep in mind, thematic tours are limited to 25 participants. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please check in at the front desk to secure your places on the tour. The cost is free with museum admission.
Market Square
One unique idea is to take mom to Market Square for breakfast, shopping, local art and a fun, festive atmosphere. Historic Market Square has row after row of market shopping and you can stop by Mi Tierra Cafe or La Margarita for breakfast or brunch. There are also live performances planned.
Mommy and Me Mother’s Day Tea Party
Working Mothers of San Antonio is planning two sessions of tea parties. One for adult mothers and daughters and another one which is family-friendly to bring the kiddos.
Mothers Day Paint Your Own Pot
You can paint your unique gift and spend quality time with your children at this event at Dog Co. Icehouse. The event is ahead of Mother’s Day, on Saturday, May 9, and comes with all supplies provided, paint, pot, and painting supplies.
Pre-Mother’s Day Tea & Paint Experience
You can get Mother’s Day started even earlier with a paint and sip experience at the iconic LaTEAda Thursday, May 7 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
