
Officials said the driver of the pickup truck stopped to try and help after the crash.
SAN ANTONIO — A man was killed late Thursday after being struck by a pickup truck on the city’s south side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
SAPD said officers were dispatched around 10:30 p.m. to the intersection of South Flores Street and Congress Avenue, where a motorcyclist had been hit by a pickup truck.
The motorcyclist, identified only as a man in his 30s, was transported by EMS with life-threatening injuries, according to police. He was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and rendered aid following the crash, SAPD said.
The incident remains under investigation.
