Motorcyclist dies after losing control on I-37 South Friday night, according to police

The man sustained major injuries and died at the scene, according to police. He has not been positively identified as of Saturday morning.

SAN ANTONIO — A motorcyclist has died after losing control of his bike Friday night, according to police.

Just before 6:30 p.m., a man was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound in the 15300 block of I-37 South.

Police say for an unknown reason, he lost control of the motorcycle, causing him to drive off the road. That’s when police say he struck the center median cables, causing him to be ejected from the motorcycle.

The man sustained major injuries and died at the scene. He has not been positively identified as of Saturday morning.
