SAN ANTONIO — A motorcyclist died after a multi-vehicle crash on city’s northside Monday afternoon, authorities say.
San Antonio Police responded to a accident near NW Loop 410 and Vance Jackson Road around 2:30 p.m.
Police say a motorcyclist was weaving in and out of traffic in a highly congested area when a vehicle struck a second vehicle. The second vehicle struck the motorcyclist.
According to a sergeant on scene the secondary vehicle could not avoid hitting the motorcyclist.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead on scene.
Police did not say if anyone else was injured.
The crash is under investigation.
All west bound lanes of Loop 410 and Jackson Keller are closed as police investigate. Authorities say to avoid this area if possible.
