
Police said the driver fled the scene and police are actively investigating.
SAN ANTONIO — A motorcyclist was injured in a hit-and-run crash Friday night on the city’s northeast side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.
The crash was reported at 9:40 p.m. in the 6800 block of Judtoepper Way.
Police said a 40-year-old man was riding his motorcycle along the roadway when an unknown vehicle approached from behind at a high rate of speed and attempted to pass him.
The vehicle then struck the motorcycle, causing the rider to lose control and crash, according to police. The driver did not stop to render aid and left the scene.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.
SAPD said the case remains an ongoing investigation.
