Motorcyclist killed after crashing into concrete pillar, police say

The victim lost control of his bike approaching a curve on I-10 and was pronounced dead at the scene.

SAN ANTONIO — A motorcyclist was killed early Sunday morning after police say he crashed his bike while approaching a curve and slammed into a concrete pillar.

It happened around 3:15 a.m. on Interstate-10 at North Colorado Street.

The 19-year-old victim was on I-10 when he lost control of his bike and was ejected, then crashed into the concrete pillar.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.

This is still an active investigation.
